Installation Guide for Decal Kit
Follow these 4 simple steps to install your holographic decal kit on your 50cc motorcycle decal kit and achieve a professional finish:

Surface Preparation:
Thoroughly clean the application area of your 50cc with a mild degreaser to remove dust, dirt, and oil traces. A clean surface is essential for your holographic decal kit to adhere properly.

Measuring and Marking:
Accurately measure the area to be decorated on your 50cc motorcycle decal kit. Use a non-permanent pencil to lightly mark the outlines to help align the vinyl during application.

Applying the Vinyl/Sticker:
Partially peel off the backing of the vinyl or sticker. Carefully position it on the marked area, then gradually remove the backing while smoothing the material with a squeegee or microfiber cloth to eliminate air bubbles and ensure perfect adhesion.

Finishing and Checking:
Check that the vinyl is firmly fixed over the entire surface of your 50cc motorcycle decal kit. Remove the protective film and make any necessary touch-ups to highlight the unique effect of your holographic decal kit.
1. Preparation of the material
Before starting, prepare the following items:
- A clean, lint-free cloth
- A degreasing cleaner (such as isopropyl alcohol, 70% or 90% IPA)
- A soft squeegee or a plastic card wrapped in microfiber
- A hairdryer or a heat gun (on low power)
- Your stickers sorted by parts (fairing, mudguard, sides, etc.)
Make sure to work in a clean, dry, and dust-free area.
2. Preparation of the motorcycle or scooter
A perfect preparation ensures optimal adhesion.
- Thoroughly wash the motorcycle to remove dirt.
- Dry all the fairings.
- Degrease all surfaces where the decal kit will be applied with isopropyl alcohol.
- Pay special attention to:
the sides,
the airbox,
the front and rear fenders,
the side covers,
the tank (if applicable).
No traces of grease, dust, or silicone should remain on the plastics.
3. Dry positioning
Before permanently sticking:
- Place each sticker in front of its location.
- Check the orientation, markers, and curves.
- Visually adjust the overall position.
A dry fit allows you to avoid mistakes once the adhesive is applied.
4. Applying the decal kit
4.1 Peel and Position
- Peel a small part of the liner (the white paper on the back).
- Place the sticker on the fairing piece.
- Stick one end first (usually the center or the straightest edge).
Don’t stick it all at once: work gradually.
4.2 Gradual Application and Squeegee
- Proceed little by little, removing the liner as you go.
- Use the squeegee or a card wrapped in a cloth to smooth the surface.
- Push the air out from the center towards the edges.
- If a bubble appears, peel back slightly then reapply.
Thanks to the FLO anti-bubble adhesive, air escapes easily.
4.3 Light Heating
Applying some heat softens the vinyl and helps it perfectly fit the shapes.
- Gently heat with a hairdryer (never too hot).
- Apply extra pressure on curved areas.
- Don’t overheat: overheated vinyl becomes too soft and deforms.
6. Important Tips
- Never apply a decal kit on a cold or damp surface.
- Do not use silicone products before installation.
- Avoid water during application (dry method recommended for FLO premium vinyls).
- The cleaner the surface, the longer the adhesion will last.
- If you make a mistake, peel off immediately and reposition; premium vinyl allows this.
Care for your decal kit
To extend the life of the vinyl:
- Wash the bike by hand (avoid high-pressure washers too close).
- Use gentle products, without harsh solvents.
- For glitter or holographic finishes, prefer hand washing only.
