Installation guide for motorcycle and scooter decoration kit

Before starting, prepare the following items:

• A clean, lint-free cloth
• A degreasing cleaner (such as isopropyl alcohol, IPA 70% or 90%)
  
• A soft squeegee or a plastic card wrapped in microfiber
  
• A hairdryer or a heat gun (on low power)
  
• Your stickers sorted by parts (fairing, mudguard, sides, etc.)
  

Make sure to work in a clean, dry, and dust-free place.

A perfect preparation ensures optimal adhesion.

• Thoroughly wash the motorcycle to remove dirt.
  
• Dry all the fairings.
  
• Degrease all surfaces where the decal kit will be applied using isopropyl alcohol.
  
• Pay special attention to:
  the sides,
  the air box,
  the front and rear mudguards,
  the side covers,
  the fuel tank (if applicable).
  

No traces of grease, dust, or silicone should remain on the plastics.

Before permanently sticking:

• Place each sticker in front of its location.
  
• Check the orientation, markers, and curves.
  
• Visually adjust the overall position.
  

A dry fit allows you to avoid mistakes once the adhesive is applied.

4.1 Peel and position

• Peel a small part of the liner (the white paper on the back).
  
• Place the sticker on the fairing piece.
  
• Stick one end first (usually the center or the straightest edge).
  

Do not stick it all at once: work gradually.

4.2 Gradual sticking and squeegee

• Proceed little by little, removing the liner as you go.
  
• Use the squeegee or a card wrapped in a cloth to smooth the surface.
  
• Push the air from the center towards the edges.
  
• If a bubble appears, peel back slightly then stick again.
  

Thanks to the FLO anti-bubble adhesive, air escapes easily.

4.3 Light heating

Applying some heat softens the vinyl and allows it to fit the shapes perfectly.

• Warm gently with a hairdryer (never too hot).
  
• Apply extra pressure in curved areas.
  
• Do not overheat: overheated vinyl becomes too soft and deforms.

• Never place a decoration kit on a cold or damp surface.
  
• Do not use silicone products before installation.
  
• Avoid water during application (dry method recommended for premium FLO vinyls).
  
• The cleaner the surface, the longer the adhesion will last.
  
• In case of a mistake, peel off immediately and reposition; premium vinyl allows this.
  

Care for your decoration kit

To extend the life of the vinyl:

• Wash the motorcycle by hand (avoid pressure washers too close).
  
• Use gentle products, without harsh solvents.
  
• For glittery or holographic finishes, prefer hand washing only.
